DISCOGRAPHY

  • The album contains 5 songs rom the album “Through Time”, but in new acoustic arrangements. The mantra was keeping it as simple as possible while staying true to the melodies from the originals. Enjoy!

  • As the title suggests Through Time is a compilation of previously released material. It was conceived when StillSkin began cooperating with label Lions Pride Music. StillSkin was, at that time, a good way into recording and mixing a full length album of new tracks, but the CEO wanted to start off with a collection of re-mastered singles and thus the work on Through Time began. To spice things up a bit though the album does contain 2 new tracks - Long Ago, which has also been released as a video single for the album, and Comfort or freedom which is one of a few duets in the bands arsenal..

Fun fact: For a long time the person on the cover walking towards the light was just a random dude, but eventually the band decided to do it right and had Bonnie cropped in after spending a day in a photo studio getting lights and wind just right.

  • The last single from the pipeline and another uptempo, straight up rock 'n' roll banger with a retro-vibe. Again StillSkin shows the broadness of their musical influences as the track, with it's carefree roadtrip theme, stands in contrast to the previous single's darker and more serious tone. Here the message is simply - "I don't know where I'm going, but I'm sure it'll be great!" and the cover of the track reflects that as well.

Fun fact: The dog in the car on the cover wasn't there to begin with, but ended up in the car when the graphical designer had a bit to drink one night and decided to pull a prank. Everyone fell for the canine and it stayed in..

  • Second single release by StillSkin from XXX 2020. Another one of those pipeline singles and currently the newest addition to the StillSkin streaming library. StillSkin has never veered away from serious subject matter and Rise Again is no exception. The lyrics describe the trials of a woman in an abusive relationship - don’t worry, it’s fiction.

Fun fact: The eerie voice in the breakdown quotes a verse from the Bible and is meant to be the voice of the abusive man in the story.

  • The departure of Claus on the drums left a few tracks in the pipeline and the band felt it was prudent to get those songs out as singles. The original idea was to start compiling an album and everyone agreed that the new drummer should be playing on all tracks of that album.

Fun fact: Lesson Learned is one of the tracks that was originally conceived on one of StillSkins annual ‘Band Camps’. That means good food, plenty of drinks and a hell of a view.

  • This first release strives to convey the full spectrum of the StillSkin sound-sphere. From the ’stadium hymn-like’ “A Place Where Anything Can Happen” over the retrospective “Highroller” to the hard-hitting “Broken”. The line-up back then featured Claus Bagge on the drums.

Fun fact: The album cover marked the first use of the signature StillSkin font which is still the official logo of the band and the sound wave on the cover is an actual capture of the word ’StillSkin’.
